Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a three-minute drive from this Nova Scotia house for sale. The photo of the Lunenburg Waterfront was taken in front of the Bluenose Golf Club well known for its friendly golfing with a fabulous view. At the far left is the red-roofed "Castle on the Hill" or Lunenburg Academy. The Provincial and National Heritage Site houses Grades Primary to 5.
Bluenose II was built in Lunenburg - as was her famous predecessor. Nova Scotia's beautiful Sailing Ambassador can often be seen at her Home Port - in front of the bright red buildings of the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Another National and Provincial Heritage Site is St. John's Anglican Church. These three treasures are but a few moments walk from each other in the town of Lunenburg.
It is a 20-minute drive to Bridgewater.. The province's capital, Halifax, is a 75 minute drive and Halifax International Airport is about the same.
